Things have moved on a little since my last blog entry. I’m now the proud owner of 6 vaccines in my arm. Visa's for India have been arranged. We are now going for 7 months (not 6) meaning we are rounding the trip off in Malaysia. And today have booked the flights…Woo hoo!!!!
We fly out on 29th Dec 2009 from Heathrow on one of Emirates new Airbus A380 aircraft to Dubai where we transfer and connect with our Emirates flight to Kochi, Kerala, southern India.
Next flight is on 23rd March 2010 flying with Indian airlines from Kolkata to Bangkok.
Last flights will be with Emirates again on 29th July 2010 from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai to connect with our flight back to London Heathrow.
Next steps are to sort out malaria tablets and insurance (oh joy!!!!).
64 days to go....Can't wait
